TFTs and Resolution |

Morning Chaps,
I have an XFX 6800GT with the latest drivers from the nvidia site. I
also use a 17" TFT with a native resolution of 1280x1024.
Obviously I run Windows (XP Home SP2) at this resolution. As I use DVI
to DVI it's pin-sharp - a really great picture.
However, when I run games at 1024x768 for performance reasons, I notice
a "tearing" effect when, say, backgrounds are moving around at high
speed. I notice a rough line across the background which looks like a
little fold - things don't seem to line up properly.
I'll try running at the monitor's native resolution tonight, but from
your experience do you think this might be the problem?
