Hi,

Trying to get some help for uninstalling a program (DAO) that the ATI
Multimedia Center installed on my computer. The program shows up in my
"Installed programs" list, but I can't uninstall it.

Another program conflicts with it and I'd like to get rid of it, but
can't.

has anyone else had problems with this? I got a CAT unistalled program
from ATI which is supposed to get rid of all ATI software, but it took
care of everything BUT DAO.

Thanks,

John

Possibly bits of the program required for it to uninstall have been deleted

or corrupted. If you really want to get rid of it (along with your other ATI
software), you could try reinstalling the DAO component (the same version
you already have) - which is downloadable from ATIs website with the MMC
related downloads - possibly under previous versions, reboot then uninstall
using add/remove programs. If you've installed a newer version over old,
this may also explain why it won't uninstall. ALL of ATIs software should be
installed without previous versions being present and problems can arise if
direct upgrades are attempted.

Good luck.

Paul
