problem enabling FSAA |

My specs:
Athlon 64 FX-53
1GB
X800 Pro with latest drivers and DirectX 9.0c
WinXP Home SP2

I am trying to enable FSAA but for some reason it doesn't want to turn on. I
went into the control panel and unchecked Application Preference for FSAA
and tried it at 2x, 4x and 6x for the DirectX and OpenGL settings.. tried
restarting my comp... but when I start my games (Starwars Galaxeies and
MoH:PA) still see jaggies. What am I doing wrong?
