CoD expansion pack installed it. Took about 1 second

Run DXDiag and check everythings OK. Installer only updates parts of DX
that need to be updated so you may be OK. That DOES sound a little
quick tho'

It's possible you were already at 9.0c. I think it was part of a
Windows Update awhile ago.

Yes! Service Pack 2 does include DirectX 9.0c. Unfortunately, it also
force-feeds Media Player 9 on you too.

All versions beyond 6.4 had been bloated pieces of garbage. Use Media Player
Classic along with the KazaaLite codec packs if you really care.

Yes! Service Pack 2 does include DirectX 9.0c. Unfortunately, it also
force-feeds Media Player 9 on you too.

Right, MP10 is much better! :)

Yep, MP9 is right there. Had no idea. Dxdiag runs fine too.
Have had no problems in the games .. if anything they run
great.
