Hey all!

Last week my laptop came to a screeching hault! I decided to reload windows and
this time instead of installing the Fujitsu driver for the Mobility 9000 I
installed the lastest Omega driver. to my surprise everything was great. I
tried to do this before by removing the factory Fujitsu driver but the Omega
install then told me that I didnt have ATI hardware installed. Do the Omega
drivers tweak the core and memory clocks?

The reason I ask is that during gameplay it seems like the laptop is getting
hotter and I noticed some graphical issues. Games are playing way better then
they did before though!

Thanks!

Matt

He adds the ability to with the drivers, but I don't think it tweaks it
automatically. I'm getting ready to install the Omega's on my Dell i8600
when the new HD gets here.

OK, thanks. I wonder if I should just go back to the ATI drivers. I'll play
with it a little more and see what happens. If I end up installing the Fujitsu
driver again then I will end up being stuff with it....

Only time will twll now.. that and some game playing!!!

No,Omega drivers do not tweak the core or the memory clocks. There
is,though,a special utility within the pack IF you want to do it yourself.
Could it be that your MRadeon fan is cloged?Try cleaning it and see what
happens.
