Please help with ATI TV USB/RADEON 7500 |
|
|
Hi there, I just installed the Ati Radeon 7500 driver updates for my
video card off the windows update website an hour ago. I load up my TV
program just half an hour ago only to find the following error
message: [Paradigm] "BmpEng:Color per pixel is less than 8 bits",
where Paradigm is the title of the popup. Clicking OK results in
another identical popup, after holding down the enter button and 20
popups later, the program loads except it has no color whatsoever, the
buttons are not visible, and its sure enough its using 8bit color. I
went and checked my ATI USB TV TUNER drivers, sure enough I had the
latest driver for that. I re-installed that driver, no effect.
Any suggestions? Please help, the TV program is too unbearable now. |

Rule #1: Never install device drivers off Windows Update. :-)
Grab the latest Radeon Catalyst drivers off www.ati.com (should be Cat
4.12).
