I have the same problem. Try using Windows Messenger or NetMeeting (or Yahoo
Messenger) or even Windows Movie Maker to see if your cam is recognised. I
get the feeling it's the Logitech software that's incompatible with Win XP.
I hope not! BTW....'I am looking for a copy of the 'old' Image Studio CD as
mine's is lost. Can you assist?
I tried the new V.8 software but don't like the look of it at all. Not that
it actually worked!
When you run the software, does it tell you the webcam is already in use by
another program?

maybe you just need to download current 4ty megabyte driver - they certainly
don't mind serving tons of bytes to dial up users because they're not
hogging much bandwidth and broadband users come and go quickly.
fwiw........ Have had unknown device here with logi Pro's and its always
been a pretty simple fix for me but forget method needed, one thing I
remember is always have had to half way manually install their drivers by
directing it to the proper dir/folder for the install and always had need to
select the full install load of crapola. Won;t piece meal install properly
but again things here are easy to delete and clean reg. |
