Hi all,

I recently downloaded a demo for a game I am interested in purchasing.
When I went to run the demo I got an error that said my video card does not
support "Vertex Shader 1.1". Is this a software/driver problem or the fact
that my video card is a bit old (GeForce2)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Erin

It's problem #2.Your card is too old and has no Vertex or Pixel
Shaders.GeForce cards first adopted Vertex and Pixel Shaders on GeForce3
and ATI had them on Radeon 8500.
These cards are all based on technology 3-4 years old so all the newer
cards have pixel and vertex shaders, basically all cards newer than DX7
has them.

So if you really want to paly that game you gotta buy a new graphics card.
