How to measure ATA Transfer Rates |
|
|
I just installed a new ata 133 and would like to verify that it is
working properly.
Is there any software that will do this? |

What operating system?
If windows you might try HDTach,
and note the burst speed. For example, if it's above
64MB/s, it's at least in ATA100 or ATA133 mode. If above
~97MB/s it's in ATA133 mode.
