Is there any software to format my MultiMedia Card so it will work in my mp3
player ?. The format software which comes with WinXP doesn't do it, when i
go to My Computer and right click the drive there to format card it comes up
with errors on my mp3 player (no valid card). Yet when i formatted it on my
Pocket PC it worked, however the software on my Pocket PC has now expired.

I can use the card in my camera fine. A brand new card works, but as soon as
i format it with either WinXP or my camera, it then doesn't work in the mp3
player no matter what i do. I have tried using XP to format it without any
luck.

I think the problem is that i had the settings on 'chunk size 2' on the
Pocket PC, WinXP formatter doesn't give me this option. Thats probably why
it worked in the PocketPC and not XP.

Just looking for freeware which will allow me to put the card in my card
reader (USB card reader) and let me format it ready for the mp3 player. I
used to have freeware for this but lost it and have searched Google with no
luck.

Cheers
Andy
