I recently got a Canon A75. It uses a CF card and I also got a card reader
for it.

Now, I see one real good use for the card reader: If I have pictures that
I've loaded on my computer and later I want to get them printed I can just
put them back on the card via the card reader and take the card in.

Here is my concern about using the card reader in general.
It APPEARS to me that the Canon A75 cover (to remove the card) is on the
chintzy side. It just seems like a piece of plastic that could easily break.
Hence, I am hesitant to keep using it. I use NIMH rechargeables, so I am not
worried about "using up battery power" when, say, downloading pictures from
the camera to the computer. I just hook the camera up directly to the USB
port.

Yet, most of you seem to recommend/use card readers.

Am I missing something?? Perhaps the cover is sturdier than I surmise??

Mel
