which can take good action shots inside such as in a basketball or
volleyball game.

I asked this question earlier in the year and ALL answers came back "Get
a DSLR" -- with the cheapest offering going to the Canon EOS Rebel!

Are there any consumer/prosumer cameras that can do the trick now?
