Can you load up 24 pictures press GO, leave your computer, and this
scanner will automatically load and scan them all?

If the answer is NO are there any scanners that can accomplish this
job?

Thanks for assistance.

I take it you mean with 35 mm? You can do this with an Epson 3200 and 4870.
Also, Canon's 9900f and 9950f will let you do this. If you are only
planning to scan 35 mm, you may want a dedicated film scanner instead
because a decent unit will give superior results to a flatbed. You would
want one of the Nikon's that allow you to buy an add-on film strip adapter
which would let you scan your whole uncut 24 exp. roll.

My Epson 2480 photo edition does not have what you want.
You've got to lay images down on the plate glass, scan them
then pick them up again, then do it all over again.

Search Google Groups for scanners with "ADF" or
"automatic document feeder" to find some brand names
and model numbers.

Be warned, scanners with this capability cost a lot more
than the typical low cost home scanner.

EPSON Scanners all offer this type of facility, the number of images is
limited by the size of the overhead light. On EPSON scanners look at
the 3200/4870. The next jump will be to the Expression 1680pro, this
scanner has a full A4 transparency hood, but retails fo ra lot more
than the other as this is a true Pro scanner.

Also look at the resources on your computer, 24 scans at 40MB each
takes a lot of resource, it may be quicker to scan 6 at a time.
