Just tried the Vuescan 8.1.11 on my Epson 4870, worked fine, then
tried it on my Epson 1600, no go. It tried to scan, the carriage
moved and about 3% of busy the carriage locked up, after awhile the
red error lite came on. Had to reboot the computer and the scanner.

Installed Vuescan 8.1.10, every thing works fine.

Epson Perfection 1600 is using the SCSI interface on Windows XP/SP2
