Canon IP 1500, objections anybody? |
|
|
I think I'm going to purchase a Canon Pixma IP 1500 soon. It's pretty
cheap and its specifications are more than fine for my needs. But I'd
like to know the wrong end of the deal, "the bad things" about this
printer.
Any (real) stories of problems or small misfortunes suffered by users
of a IP 1500 are welcome. If you are dissatisfied with this product,
take revenge and take away an almost sure buy from Canon. ;-) |

I have an IP3000 and couldn't be happier with it. It prints awesome quality
photographs and high speed text. People say canon is one of the best I
wouldn't worry about buying a canon!

Nice tr...oll!
What you're buying is not really a printer, but an ink dispenser. A few years
back, they sometimes sold for 20$ (CAN) and were most probably given away to
the big chain store to build ensembles.
They're cheap, yes, but you can get a laser printer for hardly more than twice
the price. A salesman told me yesterday that they're very flimsy.
Don't forget Canon is not a printer but a marketing company. Good luck for
getting your money's worth!

Yeah, right...
In any case, i have a second "marketing" printer and i was very happy with
first one, not ot mention that ink is one of cheapest, and easiest to
refill, too. Second one is even greater than first one... |

I'm not a troll, but you are free to think so...
I want something with cheap ink cartridges. Too lazy to refill and to
worry about refilling ink quality. That's why I didn't check HP models,
for instance. So laser printers are out of the question. Won't use the
printer very often, either.
If you want me not to buy it, I want a concrete problem, a real
incident. Things like "they are flimsy" or "It's more like an ink
dispenser" are not very useful to me. I don't expect such a cheap
hardware to last forever, anyway. |
