anyone have any experience with this printer/plotter?

i need to generate D-size engineering drawings
and this seems to be about the best priced unit around.

comments appreciated

I have used an HP DesignJet 220E for about 8 years with no problems.
IMO, the HP plotters are about as bullet proof as you can get.

chopped the top or bottom off to drawing.
The software is not all that intuitive. It takes a fair amount of
screwing around to get it set up each time you change paper size.
There was no 24 x 26 in the menu, only 22 x 34 so our standard paper
had to be selected as custom and the size type in each time.

It's no speed demon. Figure 5 to 10 minutes for each D sized
engineering sheet.

I would grade it a good solid C.
HP never sent us our $100 rebate although they made lots of promises.
