I have an Inspiron laptop. I spilled coke in the keyboard. I removed
the keys and cleaned it really well. Now when I boot I, I see the Dell
splash screen and the a black screen appears and "Plug and Play
Configuration" appears on the screen 4 times and then the line that
says "Strike F1 key to continue or F2 to run setup." If I strike F1,
the sreen goes black and stays black - it want go into setup. If I
strike F2, it boots up into safe mode and the message "Your display
adapter conflicts with another device on your computer. To correct the
problem, click OK to view the properties of this device. If I click OK,
the laptop locks up. If I click cancel, it goes into Safe mode and the
window is about 1/4 the normal size and it is centered. When I go into
System Properties, Device Manager, the profile "Ati Rage Mobility 128
(English) and "PCI Multimedia Audio device" has a yellow exclamation
mark by it. "Standard Floppy Disk Controller has a red X. I am running
Window ME.

Any suggestions?
Thanks! M
