Hi,

I'm looking at Compact Flash Wi-Fi options for a Compaq Presario 1640 laptop
running WinXP. (I've opted for a CF Wi-Fi card since I'd also like to use
the card in a Dell Axim 5 Pocket PC).

Has anyone had experience using the D-Link DCF-660W in a WinXP laptop via a
CF-to-PCMCIA adapter? If so, does the DCF-660W work on a laptop with a
generic
CF-to-PCMCIA adapters, or does it require the D-Link model (DCF-663).

thanks in advance for any advice

Yes, and having two WiFi cards will save wear and tear on the cards and
sockets.
