OK...so I have an e-Machine...and it has worked well for the past couple of years. I haven't had any problems with it...until a few months ago. It stopped working - the tower wouldn't turn on; however, the monitor and everything else still had power going to it. I deduced that it was the power supply (yes, I am a genious! Wink haha). SO...I took apart my machine and retrieved the power supply. Now, mind you, I am not very technical...but I can get my way around a computer. I brought it to Best Buy just to have them double check to see if it was the power supply. Indeed, it was...so I bought a new one. My old one is 250 something (some unit of measurement that I don't know off the top of my head)...and the one that I bought was 350 something. Now, when I plugged everything back in and closed up my machine, it still didn't work! Sad Exclamation SO...now I'm at a loss!?!? I'm not sure what else could be wrong?? I drew a schematic where all of the old wires came from, so I know I have them going in the right places....

Is it possible something else is needing to be replaced?

I'm not concerned about being able to use the computer anymore...b/c I do have a lap top that I now use...but I do have stuff on that computer that of course, I did not back up....but would like to have in the future.

What are my options????? Can anyone out there help me???

I will be VERY appreciative!!!

Thanks,
Jen
