Hi,

I am having trouble using my cd burner drive.

The drive is appearing in explorer and is working according to device manager howver is not able to read cds. No read error message is appearing just a blank window as though the cd contains no contents.

Also when burning cds in Nero a power callibration error message is displayed as I enable the burn process which causes Nero to abort the burn.

I have downloaded the latest firmware update and checked the drive and cables and am at a loss why the cd burner is not working.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

PS I am running windows xp with the latest security updates and I have also disabled autoplay with the cd burner.
