EPSON CX5200 Printer HELP PLEASE!!!!! |
Having a problem with my Epson CX5200 printer. It came unplugged 1 day and I plugged it back. A week later I went to print and the font was distorted, with lines going thru it. Some sentences wouldn't print at all. My copies are distorted also. It appeared like I was running out of ink, but my cartridge was full. I did a nozzle check, head cleaning and realignment. Nothing helped. After several head cleanings, I was able to print normally again - but I used up half a cartridge doing so and there were blotches of ink probably from so much cleaning.
A few days later, I went to print a document and the same thing happened. I went thru the same ritual again and was able to print normally. Now after about a week of no printing, the problem has yet again reared it's ugly head. Something appears clogged. Not sure if unplugging the printer created this problem, but everything was fine before. I have all new cartridges so ink is full. Please help, can't keep using up cartridges like water. I was told those "cleaning cartridges" are not good, so I didn't want to purchase one. Not sure where to check or what to look for, if something has come a loose. Appreciate the help! |
