The heads sweep across the page as if they were printing, but no ink comes
out of the cartridges. This occurred after the most recent installation of
a new cartridge.

What is this?

1-remove the sticker from the cartridges...not all of it...just the labeled part of it which allow to enter air in a tunnel...
if u did....
2-remove the ink as u wanna change it then put it again,,,,the printer wil do "INK CHARGE"its more powerfull than head cleaning...
3-check the suction pump in the far right of the printer...the pipe maybe released...thats yields no head clean
