I've been looking around various laptop makes and among the things I've
examined are machines using the AMD Turion 64 processor.

One of the things I've noticed is that these machines always have a
lower FSB speed compared to others---usually 333MHz as opposed to 400
or 533 MHz for top-range Pentium M machines.

Anyone know why this is? It seems pretty pointless to buy a 64-bit
processor if the motherboard isn't up to performing on the same level.
Or is there something I'm missing?

Cheers,

-- Joe
