This is the bad part about the 'support' from the manufacturers. Especially
nVidia.
They clearly don't *want* us to contact them about something THEY messed up.

You didn't buy the video card from Nvidia, contact the manufacturer that actually made your card for
support.

I've done that. And the software company of the product I'm having the
problems with. eVGA supplied the card and also have their own versions of
drivers. nVidia does make available *current* drivers directly that none of
the board makers keep current WITH. eVGA have responded to my email and
they say they are looking into the issue.
I personally feel there is a bit of a flaw in their (nVidia) not accepting
some feedback concerning their drivers they release to the public.

I'm sure what I've said has been said by others many times. So, just call
it venting, useless or otherwise :)

Apparently, the dual core support in the 80 series have broken Paint Shop
Pro 9 and X. They will load, as seen in Processes, but will not run,
display, create a window. The 80 series stops PSP cold with dual core and
dual CPU systems, AMD and Intel. These drivers ARE faster with Q4, FEAR,
D3. Seem better all around, except for that one little thing. ;)
77.77 working fine.
