RF Camera, WiFi and Apple PowerBook |
|
|
I have a camera with a RF output. Can I send the video to an Apple
PowerBook which is connected via WiFi on my home network?
I'm guessing some sort of RF to WiFi convertor would be required?

If it is a wifi based IP cam, then maybe. Otherwise it would
probably be somewhat complex, depending on what type of RF cam
and other equipment you have. |

The cameras output can be fed into the "yellow" "Line in" on a Windows PC
and the picture is very good.
I have a Linksys wireless router, an Apple iMac, Apple Powerbook and a
Windows PC on the network.

Sorry, skip the "Yellow Line in".
The output from the camera is RF.
I fed the output of the camera into a Hauppauge TV card to make it work.
