Anyone here have pros/cons on Sony CyberShot M1 |

This camera has been around now for almost a year. They are popping
up on eBay for around $300.00 and I thinkyou can get one new for under
$350.00 if you look hard enough.
The M1 has some neat features, especially the ease with which you can
make MPG4 movies, but I've heard that the software that comes with it
is worthless and there are better freeware options for dealing with
the movie files.
While I've read the mostly older online reviews, one wonders if Sony
has changed anything since it's original intro on this camera? And
for you real world guys/gals out there who have actually lived with
the camera for months and months... rather than a 10 day
evaluation/review deal... what's it like? When you hand it to someone
else, can they intuitively use it to snap a candi shot or a quick
movie? Have you found any great deals on memory for this camera? How
are the batteries holding up?
Any/all feedback would be appreciated, and in fact... if someone wants
to suggest a reasonable (size/price/features/etc.) alternative, I'd
like to know if there are any this versatile. TIA! |
