Thanks to everybody for all the help. After one last brooding over the
alternatives, I finally ordered Brother 5250DN laser printer.

I found the best price at A Matter of Fax, about $235 including UPS
ground shipping.

Can't wait to receive it. I shall post a review after a weeks of use.
