I have a thinkpad t30. Noticed recently that installed memory reporting
wrong. Discovered that slot 2 is not working.

Have three good memory modules, all of which work well in slot one, but
none of which are recognized in slot 2. Even when 1 gig is installed,
only 512 megs will be shown.

Have made sure all system software up to date -- no joy. Even downgraded
to an earlier BIOS but no change. Memory slot 2 not working.

Any suggestions?
