Further update to last post:

I've tried install the printer by connecting it with another PC also
with 2 USB ports & running XP Home. Printer still prints blank page!
Test scenario:
1. I connected the PC & printer via USB cable.
2. I powered on both PC & printer. The PC was connected directly to
internet via DSL modem.
3. After PC booted up (only XP Home installed in this PC), XP reported
Lexmark Z25 found.
4. I selected to allow XP to search driver automatically from internet.
5. As expected, driver found from HP web page. I clicked on the
corresponding url to download & installed the driver on my PC.
6. Z25 installation automatically suggested to run a test at the end of
installation (that program reported installation completed). I told the
test program that there were 2 ink boxes, one black & one colored.
7. The test program goes on prompting me it's aligning page & prompted
me to print a test page, I followed as exepcted.
8. Test program popped out a print progress message box as. Meanwhile,
the printer was actually rolling out paper & print head seemed
printing. There was a small ink box icon at the bottom right corner of
the message box, I guessed it showed filling status of ink box.
9. As last time, nothing printed on the rolled out paper.
After this test, I've more confidence that the problem was more related
to the printer. But I haven't figure out the root cause yet. Hopes
someone can help :(
PS:
Further to Shooter's suggestion, I've taken out the ink boxes then
re-inserted them back and make sure no dirty things blocked the ink box
output hole. I've opened Lexmark solution system, ink level of both ink
boxes were normal.

Try running a clean in Lexmark solutions, if it prints blank take
out and reinstall the ink carts being sure to set them up again
before printing, the Lexmark solution system should also show you
how much ink is left in the carts, if low either buy new or refill.

Further to Vern's suggestion, I had explicitly set this in Print
Processor option. No improvement.

Should I buy a new set of ink boxes now ? If problem still persists
after new set of ink boxes used, what can I do next ? |
