Suggestions for TFT LCD display |
|
|
I am running an X850 XT PE and looking for 19" or 20" TFT LCD
display. I am a gamer so good quality is important. Willing to spend
up to $ 1000 US for it. Suggestions please!
Thx,

Viewsonic 19" VP191b or its successor, the VP930b, hands down, for having
the lowest latency. High latency causes ghosting in games. Be prepared to
shell out ~ $500 for one of these panels.

I got a Samsung SyncMaster 193v the other day - and Quake 4 at the same
time.
Its not an expensive monitor, but its excellent; no ghosting or smearing
with games, and it works fine even when its running below it's native
resolution.
Recommended!
BTW, beware quoted 'response times'. The Samsung says its 25ms - which
sounds like it should be not-that-good at games. But its fine. Get a
demo in a store before you buy online!
