A31 graphics card upgrade

I have an IBM thinkpad A31 laptop 1.4 GHz with 512 MB RAM and 16MB ATI
radeon graphics card.

I recently purchased civilization 4 game and installed it on my laptop.
The screen blanks out when I start the game. The game has a min
requirement for a 64 MB graphics card.

I wanted to know if I can upgrade the graphics card (either the card or
only the memory on it!) on my A31 laptop. And if I can I would
appreciate if I get the pointers to the places from which can purchase
the graphics cards.

unfortunately, the gpu and memory are built into the motherboard. You
therefore cannot upgrade it.

The A31 has 32MB RAM as I recall
Try some different drivers.
