I need to buy a new SCSI card as I want to upgrade to XP and can't find
a driver for the card in my pc at the moment. RS supply an Adaptec 2904
or a 2930 but it states that they both support win 2000 but nothing
about XP.
I am fed up with bashing my head against a brick wall trying to get an
answer out of Adaptec.
Does anybody know what I need to work with XP.

The Adaptec 2940 series cards work just fine with XP and Server 2k3.

Maybe they have an aversion against godawful lazy persons.

Maybe a web site that is a little easier to follow might help instead

of treating their customers like shite. They have still not replied to
two email queries sent to them, quite frankly I don't think they
deserve my custom but there again if they think their customers are
lazy then perhaps I need to be looking at other solutions.

You are a creep Folkert. Why don't you just hammer your computer into
nonexistance? We'd all appreciate it. You are a know-nothing fool. Who
never says anything that has any value at all. You remind me of President
George Bush Jr. Both of you think larger than your musshy brains can
accomodate.

Folkert is a troll, and needs to be handled like one--ignored.

Actually he is *sometimes* a troll - sometimes ignored.

Finally someone says something about this nut. Do a google on his name and
you find his crap, the same crap all over. What is his problem? Apparently
he has no life and his determined to blame everyone else for it. He may have
knowledge but knowledge without personality is just a waste.

What, you disagree with Hester Lolipop?

So then, what was your contribution to this group.
Ever.
Except for trying to organize a gathering of trolls.

I didn't see your answer to OP's question, even though it was simple to find.
