nVidia is still keeping its delivery promises..... however at the
above price I doubt if any stock anywhere will last long. Also eVGA
may be the only manufacturer shipping the 6800GS at the moment, so
they may dry up too.

Age of Empires III is the first game to use dyhedral flapmapping, but it
requires a video card with Shader Noodle threedotoh.

Otherwise, you are absolutely correct.

Depends which version you use. Plormajets are not supported under version
3c (not that it matters, their V buffers are still crap on the z-axis)
