WHAT I SAY ABOUT INK IS TRUE. IF A PERSON HAS TROULBE WITH
GENERIC INK HE BOUGHT FROM VENDOR A AND THEN GOES AND BUYS A
DIFFERENT LABEL FROM VENDOR B THERE IS A HIGH PROBABLILITY HE WILL
GET THE SAME STUFF. IT CANNOT BE TRACKED BECAUSE THERE ARE NO
BRANDS OF PREFILLED CARTS OTHER THAN CANON EPSON AND HP
I WISH THERE WAS BUT THERE IS NOT
Of course, if he has no problem, this illogic does not apply. And
if he refills, he knows what ink he uses.
NO HE DOES NOT. ALMOST ALL OF THE VENDORS DO NOT DISCLOSE THE
MFG/FORMULATOR OF THE INK THEY ARE EITHER SUPPLIED WITH OR REBOTTLE
UNDER THEIR LABEL.
i'm usually only lurk here but i find you all caps very unreadable
I FIND YOUR LOWERCASE LESS READABLE. IT IS TOO SMALL
and most of your responses about ink and vendors to be not truth.
THEY ARE THE TRUTH. GOTO A BUNCH OF THEIR WEBSITES. LOOK AT THE
SECTION ON PREFILLED CARTS. COPY AND PASTE RIGHT HERE ALL OF THE
INFORMATION WHERE THEY TELL YOU WHO THE MFG/FORMULATOR IS.
SINCE YOU CANNOT DO THAT AND NOBODY ELSE HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT THEN
IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT I AM TELLING IT LIKE IT IS. GAW HEAD MAKE MY
DAY PROVE ME RONG.
i have not any idea why you are like you are but i thinking you maybe

It's one theory around here he's employed by a marketing group on
behalf of canon to do virual marketing. The kids today don't watch as
much tv as they should so we end up with a bunch of fellows who's
mission in life is to make every site a mirror for the marketing
department.

Isn't it more likely that he works for Epson? After all his ill-thought
canon promotion is likely to put off more people than it attracts!

Don't worry, Measekite, nobody here wants to force you to think outside

And let us see what Image Specalists says about the subject too

may request generic, non-branded identification labels or provide their

I SPOKE TO THEM AND HAVE FOLLOWED THEM. THEY HAVE BEEN THE ONLY COMPANY |
WITH ANY PROMISE. I HAVE URGED THEM IN THE PAST TO DISCLOSE THE BRAND
OF INK THEY SELL ON THEIR WEBSITE. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY TOOK MY ADVICE.
THEY HAVE PROCOLOR INK CARTRIDGES (WHO EVER THEY ARE) FILLED WITH
FORMULABS INK IN CHINA AND THEN IMPORT THEM TO THE USA. THEY ARE ABOUT
HALF THE PRICE OF THE CANON OEM INK THAT I AM PAYING.
MY PRINTLOAD IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO MAKE IT WORTHWHILE TO TAKE ANY RISK
USING AFTERMARKET INK OR TO REDUCE THE QUALITY THAT I AM GETTING NOW.
IF MY PRINTLOAD BECOMES HIGH ENOUGH WHERE I NO LONGER WANT TO SPEND THE
CURRENT PRICE THEN I MIGHT CONSIDER THEM.
IT APPEARS THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO SELL PREFILLED CARTS ON THE WEB
AND FULLY DISCLOSE WHAT THEY ARE SELLING. THEY ALSO TOLD ME (NOT
MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE) THE THE bci3Ebk IS REALLY PIGMENTED INK.

Actually "First Ink International Holding Ltd"
http://listing.hk.business.yahoo.com/en/13358/
" All the ink we use are directly imported from Formulabs USA."
Their stuff is labled "Logic" but as with all companies like this they
offer private label branding.. to be honest I've never heard of Logic.
But yet another company willing to disclose what ink they are using. |

I REALIZE WHAT I JUST TOLD YOU. THE INDUSTRY IS A WHORES INDUSTRY. |
IN ANY EVENT THE JURY IS OUT ON FORMULABS INK. I HAVE NO CLUE IF IT CAN
MATCH UP TO CANON IN LONGEVITY. APPEARANCE OR CLOG RESISTANTCE. THERE
IS STILL A HIGHER RISK. THERE IS ALSO THE PROBLEM THAT FORMULABS INK
DOES NOT MATCH THE NEW CANON INK IN THE NEW PRINTERS. FORMULABS STILL
HAD A PROBLEM WHEN THEY CHANGED THEIR FOMULAE. NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT HOW
FORMULABS WORKS IN AN EPSON OR AN HP.
GIMME A BREAK. THERE A MANY UNKNOWNS.
CANON INK AND CANON PRINTERS WERE DESIGNED TOGETHER.

This is what you've been obsessed with. And that info has been on the

guess you don't like being caught in a lie.

That is at the very least a *legit* question. But keep in mind that
Canon OEM ink is at the ass end of the scale for lightfastness... we're
talking 10 years for the chromalife100 when not under glass and exposed
to moderate light according to canon usa. The old bci-6 ink was rated
at 25 years under glass. But odds are the OEM ink is probally more
light fast... the real question is do you want to spend $3000/gal for
something only lightfast or do you want to spend $300/gal for something
that might not be as lightfast. |

that cost down to $8.

What's sad is i'm quoting canon's numbers on the new ink... and 10
years is what they say for the chomalife100 on their premium papers.
This is very lame and you can be sure this is best case scenero.
But you did say one smart thing... you didn't know anything about the
