Hi there,

In a Toshiba Satellite A70 that I have here, it crashed all the time
on bootup so I took the whole thing apart and cleaned it out.

In doing so, I somehow screwed up the connector to the main memory
card marked AUX which is the Aux connector to the TFT screen. There is
the MAIN connector which is allright.

So, I cleaned everything else up and put it back together without the
AUX coax connector hooked up and it appears to work just fine.

How important is this AUX connector? And do I really have to have it
connected?

Thanks,

Gordon

Is this maybe an antenna connector to a Mini-PCI WiFi Card?

It'll work without it, though not as well as with it. You probably
want to go into the driver (if possible) in Device Manager and
configure it to turn off diversity and only use one antenna.
