I am using Windows XP SP2 and the onboard SCSI it says I have in Device
Manager is:

Adaptec AHA-2940U/2940UW/2940D PCI SCSI Controller.

I bought a Western Digital 9.15GB 10K RPM - Ultra2 LVD 50-pin WD Enterprise
SCSI drive. This was to be the fourth device and a 4 device SCSI cable thus
it was the last on the ribbon. But it is not recognized in the SCSI BIOS at
boot. The only jumper that I can see on the drive is a 0 TRGT INIT. It
came that way and I thought I'd just leave it be as I don't know what that
is. There are no jumpers on the drive for SCSI ID but there is a jumper on
the controller board asking it to be SCSI ID 1.

Did I purchase the wrong type of SCSI for my interface? If not any
suggestions how I can get it to be recognized? Thanks.

Put your terminator in the non-existent 5th position.

Still having delusions about a 50-pin Ultra2 drive? Last thread you wrote:

It's 80-pin sorry about that.>>

Stop trolling the troll, Boden. He is far better at it.
