81.85 what High Definition extras ??? |

Just like to know. For some reason it does not show the 720p or above
in my selction anymore just stops at combination n/pal.
It it does not allow me to select componet as a option ???
Its working now at 720p but only if i install over the previous
drivers. If i dont do this it defaults to combination n/pal. And the
graphics are all blue or purple or somthing.
I was told i have to turn on the HD TV in an option somehwere in Nview
but i can't find such an option ??
Any help. |

Nope sorry not their !!!!
Only shows show only physical panning resolutions. And thats greyed
out so i cant slect it.
Hide mods that this monitor cannot support. Not selected.
And down the bottom Only showcustom modes. Not selected.
Anywhere else does this Turn on HDTV option turn up ???

your card doesn't support that. It would help if you mentioned what card do

Its a Nvidia 6600 gt. And iam using a Toshibia 86cm HD tv.
The last drivers were fine. Will have to ho back to them. They picked
up the TV on setup i select compont and all is great.
Ive never see enable HD in any Nvida drivers ?
Its just all be done automaticly for me. Ever since i hooke dup the
TV. And ive done a reformat since then and it worked the same as well.
Dont know whats going on. Iam using a Divico fusion Plus as my TV
card.

The HDTV modes option is for DVI connections, to hide non-HDTV modes, and
not for component output. The 81.xx series have very poor component output
capabilities.
I think the earlier 80.xx series had a component output option, which when
selected would leave out a component ( say blue ) leaving a miscoloured
image.
I think 'tis best to wait until they release more functional drivers.

wHY WOULD THEY REMOVE SOMTHIGN THAT WORKS ??
I think the ones that work are thr 78.01. They pick up my Tv i select
componet and alls sweet :)
At the moment the 81.85's are working. But not like the old ones. I
had to install it over the top or the screen would be blue :(
Their is no option for componet anywhere. Their is scart whichi think
i never saw before. Everything but componet.
I hope the next drivers fix this. As i want to be able to slect 1080i
and 720p liek the onld drivers !!

Works fine for me.. Check the settings under Select TV Format - Advanced
and make sure the correct signal format and video output connections are
selected.

It only gives me Composiute,Svideo and Scart out. No Componet. Would
it be useing scart ???
The card is conected to the Tv va Coponet. but iam wondering whats it
using if componet is not an option ???
