skip preview |

I'm trying to do batch scanning of 8.5" x 11" documents. I have crappy
software (HP Precision Scan LT) that does a preview, and guesses at the
colors/resolution each time. Then I have to change the color/resolution
back to what I want every time.
What scanners/software can let me set my colors, resolution, and
ideally cropping dimensions, and skip the preview entirely? |

Any scanner supported by SANE (www.sane-project.org) will. Your HP scanner,
however, doesn't appear on the list of supported devices.
