presario laptop display problem

I own a Compaq Presario 1505US. The problem appears to be with the lcd
display. It randomly displays several rows of either blue or pink
horizontal lines each formed of this small lines; something like this
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I connected it to a different monitor and had the same problem. I think
something's wrong with the video card(?).

What could be the problem?

Interated Video ..no card.. You'll be looking at a board replace for
this one.. Sorry...

independent video card. Guess this laptop's no good anymore.
