Toshiba Satellite 200CDS - takin' it back to the old school! |

Hi guys,
Just wondering whether you can help me out. I've just got a Toshiba
Satellite 200CDS laptop, but it has no instruction manual.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out for the life of me how to charge
the battery, as it doesn't seem to be a 'plug it in and it just
automatically charges' kind of laptop.
Any thoughts?

Probably the battery is just dead. It should charge automatically. |

You might open the battery door and remove it to make sure it is not
leaking or otherwise damaged. IIRC, this is a NiCad and they can
deteriorate over time.

Just plug it in and it automatically charges ... unless the laptop or
battery is defective (defective battery very possible).
