Trying to narrow down the choices on used PC's. I had been looking at
the T23 since there are so many available but spotted a T21 at a low
price. Slower CPU and will probably need a new battery but is there any
major negative for this unit versus a newer model (I know less mileage).

Only need it for wordprocessing, email while traveling, some simple
games like scrabble (mega CPU pwr not needed). Have also looked at the
Dell L400, like having less wt. but unsure of the model's track rcord at
the moment.

Regards, Gus

The T23 has a better (and 16 MB) video card, and a 133Mhz FSB. Much
better machine.

If you don't need the 'enhanced' capability why is the T23 better than
the T21/T22? The T21 is perfectly adequate for what the OP speced.

For those of us who are not gamers or need to work with video and
large computations, processor speed and the latest and greatest video
card are not relevant.
