Hello,

I'm wondering if someone can help identify my Remote Wonder. It came
with a Hercules branded ATi All in Wonder 8500DV. It is a radio
frequency remote, not infra-red. I no longer have the All in Wonder
8500DV (I just upgraded to an X800GT), but now wish to use the remote
wonder in conjunction with a new HTPC that I am building.

My question is, which version of the Remote Wonder was included with the
All In Wonder 8500DV? Was it the "Remote Wonder", the "Remote Wonder
II", or the "Remote Wonder Pro"?

There are three different listings here on the drivers page:
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27

I am worried that I may install the wrong drivers. Or, is this just the
same driver package, and the precise Remote Wonder version is detected
at the point of install?

Can I programme this remote to work with any application, or is it
limited to only applications that have the right plugin?

Don't know but RW is a cube with a wire hanging out of it for an antenna.
RWII is hamburger bun shaped with a molded plastic bump on top of it for an
antenna. Both of mine have red ATI logos on them. Neither of mine are from
an 8500DV though.
