Hi guys

I have a serious and strange problem with my acer laptop. What happens
is that it will automatically switch from the mains to the battery for
no reason and then what i have to do is shut down the laptop disconnect

the adapter from the laptop and then reconnect it to the laptop then
the orrange charging light comes on and then i reboot. once the battery

is fully charged it will work off the mains for a little while then
automatically switch to the battery again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I doubt its switching to battery power. The notebook is probably just
"topping up" the battery every once in a while. If you don't want the
battery to be continually charged up, just remove it when using ac power.
