81.85-87 Mess up fullscreen Media Player videos |
|
|
Hi, I have various .wmv, .mpg files that will no longer play in fullscreen
mode in WindowsXP media player after this latest round of drivers. When you
hit alt-enter it attempts to go fullscreen, then apparently hits an error
and goes back to windowed mode.
Anyone know if there's a driver or registry setting to fix this? Other apps
like powerdvd seem unaffected.

Until it's fixed you can use RealPlayer. Or PowerDVD if you have it.

There is an "enable Full screen mode switch" option in the advanced options
for WMP. Check and see if 'tis enabled.
