I'm thinking of buying an Epson R300. The official spec for its card
reader lists support for Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick
Duo (with adapter) -- but no specific mention is made of Memory Stick
Pro Duo, which is a little unfortunate because this happens to be the
card I use!

I would have thought that the Pro Duo would work (with an adaptor) if
the Pro is supported. Can anyone positively confirm that's the case?

Many thanks.

It should be fine. Pro Duo should work just like regular Pro with the
little adapter. Both regular and Duo are basically the same thing in
different sizes. If your memory card reader have very shallow MS
slot, you could get away plugging the Duo without adapter but it's a
bit tricky to get the stick lined up just right.
