Help. My Compaq Presario 2100 laptop won't power up. I thought it
might be the AC adapter but I put a new one on it to no avail. I know
PC but not laptops..... what should I check as a cause. Please email

Flp it upside down get a pen, and stick it in the reset button hole, hold
it for a few seconds then try to boot it up..

Thanks but I tried that to no avail. Is there a fuse in these things
that I am not aware of? I don't even get the yellow power light at all
when the ac adapter is plugged in.

check power supply with a volt meter? Make sure it works?
