For other posters who may have been subjected to the k00kery of
Rod Speed, a little Googling turned up the "Rod Speed Generator."

I ran it through its paces a few times, and it seems pretty
accurate. Further Googling reveals that Roddy (or 'Roddles,' as he's
known in Oz) won K00k of the Year on Usenet in the late 90's.
