Any reason the 85.01 Drivers wont detect my HDTV ? |
|
|
Iam back to the 78.01 drivers now and all works great.
Do the 81.05 drivers give you the option to select Componet.
Composite or Svideo on install. You know after the drivers have
restarted the system. As it never gives me the options.
And also their are NO options after for HDTV not 720p or 1080i. Or
even 576 for that matter. Are they in a New place for the 81.05
drivers ??
I slect my TV and select device settings and sewlect Tv format. But it
stops at (combination) N/PAL.
Nothing underneath
/ps I think it boots me in (Combination( N/Pal for some reason. The
screen is ALL BLUE and no way to change it at all. Its working fine
with the 78.01 drivers at 720p on my TV now :(
Somthign is screwy.
Thanks for any help. |

I assume that the TV is hooked up to the component video jacks on the
adapter, and that nothing is plugged into the composite or S-video ports
(that might matter, if there is)..

Did you enable hdtv in nvidia control panel, you have to enable it in
"screen resolution & refresh rates" panel and sign option "show standard
HDTV format" ! Than you'll have option to choose between various hdtv
resolutions ! |

First of all, you connect your tv with s-vid or composite, than choose in
control panel in "display wizard" which one will you use and then do what i
told you before and after you have done all that go and choose the way your
montor and tv are gona function (clone, span, dualview...) and in
resolution setting for tv yust choose hdtv !
Hope i'm clear ! |

Just wonder why they changed it. The other whay was so simple. On
restart of the drivers ithe options just poped up and you selected
them. EASY. No unpluging and plugging in anything and looking in menus
for stuff to make it work.
Why do they do this to use.
OH well when i canbe bothered i might upgrade the drivers.
