NERO & UDF/ISO ot just UDF |
|
|
To use these options in Nero Burning ROM 6, do you have to format the DVD
with inCD first..?
As selecting these options do not do a thing for me, it still reports that the
ISO format dose not support files over 2 gig's and to use the UDF file
format.
Trying to fit a 2.2 gig Data file onto a DVD.
I thought that UDF = inCD..??
Thanks |

No.

"DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)" includes both UDF ***and*** ISO file systems.
Why don't you select "DVD-ROM (UDF)"?

UDF is just a file system, not a writing method. InCD uses UDF for file
system and packet writing for writing method. |

UDF was used on CD-ROM only for packet writing, which leads to confusion
now on DVD-ROM. UDF is a format (Universal Data Format); packet writing
employs it but so do the DVD-ROM options. You do not need InCD or
another packet program to write or read UDF on DVD-ROM.
