UMAX Powerlook/UTA Cable |
|
|
Dear all,
I got this very nice UMAX Powerlook I Scanner (PS-2400) and the UTA-II
transparency adaptor. What I don't have is the cable between the two units.
It's a 25pin DB to a 24pin centronics type. Does anybody has such a cable
and would sell it to me? Or, even better, does anybody have the wiring of
it or connector pin-outs? Then I could do it myself.
Any hints are more than welcome! Thank you very much, Stefan |

Are you sure that it is not a standard Parallel Printer Cable.
The connector on the rear of the computer is 25 pin and the Printer is a 36
pin Centronics.
You can find just about any cable made here:

Hi, |
thanks for your reply. Well, it's strange, but it's really a 24 pin
connector at the scanner which looks like a centronics printer port, except
that it is 24 pins.
